I was a little shocked to stumble upon bamboo shoots in Parrot’s Bay conservation area new Kingston, Ontario. I didn’t think bamboo was a native plant species in these parts, perhaps there was a panda bear nearby. At any rate, the brilliant greens in the reeds was too much to pass up for a photo-op. The only subject I had on hand was my trusty golden and he performed marvelously well as usual. I love the golden in him against the green of the bamboo.
