My brother-in-law was getting married in Punta Cana. Hmmm, sun, hot weather, beach….right, let me think about that one…I’m there.
We stayed at the Majestic Punta Cana (pronounced Mayestic) a beautiful resort located on a popular stretch of beach that boasts a plethora of resort after resort when walking in either direction.

Like all resorts, this one has all kinds of vegetation in and around its carefully sculpted and manicured gardens.

The wedding was beautiful, right on the beach, pretty cool to be able to say your vows in that kind of setting.

I couldn’t leave without including one picture of the happy newly weds. Here they share a first kiss on the beach soon after saying “I do”

I loved waking up early, while most are still sleeping, and getting some pictures of the sun rising. The area next to the resort was undeveloped land, so there were lots of palm trees that I was able to use in the foreground of the pictures.

But the three days I was able to take off of work was just too little to really relax and enjoy my time. I’ll be back.
