What is one to do when there’s freezing rain and school’s are cancelled. Go out and take some pictures, of course! The sidewalks, roads, cars, trees, and anything else was were bathed in a glistening coat of ice. What a sparkling treat.
After a good snowfall blanketed the ground with deep powder snow, the skies cleared and we were left with a brilliant sunshine. I wanted to get some pictures of my Golden Retriever, Sheldon running through the fresh snow.
Waking up in the morning, what is more beautiful than seeing a fresh coat of snow lining the trees and branches? Not much!
While a thick coating of snow can be beautiful, hoar frost is offers a more stunning image than snow especially for those close-up photos. It coats every branch and leaf in an intricate and delicate white lacing.
