Spring. The time when the snow of winter melts away, buds adorn branches and soon flourish into lush green leaves, and flowers bloom and blossom. Yes, spring is all about rebirth and renewal. It’s a beautiful thing to witness year after year…it just never gets old.

So when a family with twelve, yes twelve, new little ones approached us for a spring newborn photo session, who are we to say no? Even if they are of the feathered variety, all are welcome at SVphotography. After a pre-shoot consultation (included for all photo sessions), we decided that photos would look better in a natural setting, so we opted for the meadow behind our home instead of indoors at our studio.

This family started off with eight little ones, but that number soon ballooned to twelve when four from a neighboring family defected. And despite not all being related by blood, this was a tight family. All little ones looked super cute in matching yellow and black shirts and listened to their mother’s instructions. In addition to some group shots, we got some individual portraits where the little ones could really show off their personality. Super cute!

We were fortunate enough to meet and photograph this family. They are a beautiful bunch. Apparently, they’re already planning a trip to Florida in six months time, but they promised they will return and perhaps even grace us with another photo session. We hope they do.
