I shoot most of my images in RAW format and post process in Lightroom and Photoshop as needed. As I’m sure you are aware, shooting in RAW format and using Lightroom to post-process is great because you can do non-destructive editing, meaning any changes you make are saved in a sidecar file, the original file is untouched.
At any rate, Lightroom, and more specifically Lightroom presets enable you to make your pictures go from “ho-hum” to “wow” with a simple click of the mouse.
In a previous post, I posted some pictures of hoar frost. Here I’ve re-posted some of the pictures with the before Lightroom editing and after.
If you’re interested in this preset, you can download the Hoar Frost Artsy Lightroom preset here, absolutely free.
