I know professional wildlife photographers would scoff at taking pictures of animals during a trip to the zoo. The animals, though still wild, are not in their natural habitat. It’s “easy” to take pictures of them here, they are contained. But the reality is that when you don’t have five grand plus to drop on a trip to Africa, this is the only other option. Africa is on my bucket list. Someday, I will make it out there.  And believe me when I say, there will be many pictures resulting from that trip, but for now, the zoo will have to do.
