Where I enter the park, there is a lone maple tree with large reaching branches and in the fall, the yellow colours are absolutely brilliant especially in contrast to the dark colour of the bark.
Leave it to Beaver
It started with a dam being built and pretty soon after a lodge was raised. When living in the city, it’s amazing to see wildlife quite literally right outside your door. On early morning walks, you could witness the beaver having a snack and gnawing on a tree or branch somewhere, it was beautiful.

Last year, we traveled to Punta Cana for my brother-in-law’s wedding. But having only three days to enjoy the sun and beach was just not enough. So we decided a return trip was in order.
